Illustrated poster for "The Alderman Project", a group exhibition of portraits at Johalla Projects Gallery. The show's goal was to enable citizens to learn more about the 50 aldermen who make up the Chicago City Council, and raise awareness of local government. Rey Colón is the Alderman of Logan Square, an economically and racially diverse neighborhood on Chicago's Northwest side. This portrait aims to raise awareness of the local politician and his influence, as well as note some of the interesting urban developments within the vibrant neighborhood.
